YOU CAN'T DISPROVE THE FACTS

FACT...

The Law of Moses is still valid and in affect today. Christians are not under the Law of Moses, ("For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." - Romans 6:14), but that has not ended, ceased or abolished the Law of Moses, or put an end to the authority of the Law of Moses. Is earth still here? Yes, therefore the Law of Moses is still alive and in affect. Christians do not need to be under the Law of Moses, of which we are not, in order for the Law of Moses to be alive and valid.

PROOF SCRIPTURE...

Matthew 5:17-19 - "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

FACT...

Tithing was a matter of the Law of Moses. That is to say that God's command to tithe was established by the Law, regulated by the Law, described by the Law, administered by the Law, organized by the Law, given to the Levites by God stated through the Law. Outside of the Law of Moses there is no command given to anyone to tithe anything in neither the Old or New Testament.

PROOF SCRIPTURE...

Hebrews 7:5 - "And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:"

Malachi 3:7 - "Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?"

Malachi 4:4 - "Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments."

FACT...

The ownership of the tithe was given to the Levites, the tithe was their personal property, their inheritance given to them by divine decree, they own it. The tithe remains so according to the Law of Moses and Jesus Christ until heaven and earth passes away. Nowhere in God's word has God taken the tithe from the Levites and given it to any pastor, any minister, any organization in any way shape or form. No church, no pastor, no minister, no organization, no person has the right, permission or authority to ask for the tithe, demand a tithe or the right to receive a tithe. There exists NO SCRIPTURE where God has taken the tithe from the Levites and given it to anyone, or given anyone the right to receive a tithe...NOWHERE, NO ONE.

PROOF SCRIPTURE...

Numbers 18:20-22 - "And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel. And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation."

Numbers 18:24 - "But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance."

CONCLUSION...

Any New Testament minister, or organization, or anyone else taking tithes from a Christian (or from anyone) is a thief and a deceiver clearly taking what is not theirs. They are stealing.

PROOF SCRIPTURE...

If you steal tithes govern by the Law, then you can face the punishment of the Law.

Leviticus 6:1-6 - "And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour; Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein: Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found, Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering. And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest:"

James 2:10-11 - "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law."

Galatians 5:3 - "For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law."

Note: "circumcised" ... ergo; keeping the Law.

Note: "debtor to do the whole law" ...  under the authority of, and will be punished by the Law of Moses.

GOD'S TITHE...

RETURNING TO GOD IN THE TITHE

God's Word tells us;

"Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?" - Malachi 3:7

How does God's word say that one is to return to God in the Book of Malachi?

>> First, God answers with a question setting the stage for His commandment and His answer in chapter three of Malachi;

"Will a man rob God?"

>> Second, God makes a statement and addresses the question;

"Yet ye have robbed me."

>> Third, God anticipates another question;

"But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee?"

>> Forth, God answers the question;

"In tithes and offerings."

>> Fifth, relative to this discussion between God and man on returning to Him; what did God say tithing was?

Answer; tithing was returning to His ordinances, to His Law, the Law of Moses...

"Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts." - Malachi 3:7a

"Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments." - Malachi 4:4

THE RESULTS;

By tithing based on Malachi 3:10, tithing on the ordinances of God, you're placing yourself back under the Law of Moses which we are given in the New Testament the following warnings concerning...

"For I testify again to every man that is circumcised [a keeper of the Law], that he is a debtor to do the whole law." - Galatians 5:3

And...

"For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all." - James 2:10

And...

"For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them." - Galatians 3:10

CONCLUSION;

New Testament Christians are not under the Law of Moses and have NO COMMAND from God to tithe anything to anyone at any time.

"For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." - Romans 6:14

“He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter [the law] but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” - 2 Corinthians 3:6

"Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster." - Galatians 3:24-25

DISANNULLED, WEAK, UNPROFITABLE

What is DISANNULLED? What is WEAK? What is UNPROFITABLE? These three...

1. The Levitical Priesthood (which could bring perfection [salvation] TO NO ONE, Hebrews 7:11).

2. The Law of Moses relative to New Testament Christians who are NOT UNDER THE LAW (Romans 6:14, Acts 15:24).

3. Tithing, which is of the law of Moses (Hebrews 7:5, Numbers 18:21-24, Matthew 23:23).

In Hebrews Chapter Seven, Verses Number;

5, 6, 8, and 9...

Focuses CLEARLY ON TITHING, and while proving the superiority of Christ's priesthood, ALSO places tithing (along with the rest of the law of Moses) in a position of INFERIORITY and declares it all...

ALL THREE ARE WEAK, ALL THREE ARE UNPROFITABLE, AND ALL THREE ARE DISANNULLED...INCLUDING TITHING.

"For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof." - Hebrews 7:18

God has never called Gentiles to tithe, God has never required anyone to tithe money; God, for EVERYONE, Jew and Gentile, has forever ended all forms of tithing. Read God's word; for any Believer under the New Testament, tithing is WEAK, UNPROFITABLE AND DISANNULLED (See: Hebrews 7:18).

Interesting that people who like to quote Malachi 3:10;

"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove (bâchan) me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

...trying to convince you to "tithe" like to completely ignore;

>> Malachi 3:7 (keeping of the law of Moses concerning tithing, of which no Christian is under [ref.; Hebrews 7:18, Romans 6:14])...

"Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?"

>> Malachi 3:15 (though given grace to do so after disobeying God, testing God is called WICKEDNESS)...

"And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt (bâchan) God are even delivered."

>> And, Malachi 4:4 (to whom Malachi was addressing in Malachi 3:10 were under the law of Moses of which their command to tithe came from)...

"Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments."

TITHING MONEY; GOD FORBIDS DOING SO

1. God forbids the tithing of money, if the tithe is in the form of money it MUST NOT be given to anyone, one must BIND IT to their hand. Speaking of the tithe temporarily converted to money for purposes of transportation, God's word tells us...

"Then shalt thou turn it into money, and BIND UP THE MONEY in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the Lord thy God shall choose:" - Deuteronomy 14:25. In other words, God did not want anyone paying a tithe in the form of money, NO ONE WAS TO DO SO. Doing so was forbidden.

2. The Word of God also tells us...

"For I testify again to every man that is circumcised [a keeper of the Law], that he is a debtor to do the whole law." - Galatians 5:3

And...

"For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all." - James 2:10

If you pay a tithe in the form of money, you are in violation of Deuteronomy 14:25 and are in sin, YOU HAVE VIOLATED THE WHOLE LAW.

Also...

"For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them." - Galatians 3:10

3. IF YOU ARE PAYING A TITHE IN THE FORM OF MONEY, YOU ARE IN VIOLATION OF GOD'S WORD (Deuteronomy 14:25) AND HAVE BROUGHT A CURSE (PUNISMENT) ON YOURSELF.

GOD SAYS "USE TITHE MONEY TO BUY WINE AND WHATEVER YOUR HEART DESIRES TO BUY WITH IT."

If we are supposed to be tithing money, or tithing at all for that matter, as tithing teachers claim; why are we not supposed to be doing what God says with the tithe money? Like this...

1. Do not pay the tithe in the form of money. Keep the money in your hand (bind it to your hand) until you...

2. Buy wine with it.

3. Buy strong drink (harder liqueur) with it.

4. Buy livestock and other food.

5. Buy whatever you desire, whatever you lust after.

6. Share what you buy with a Levite and your family.

7. Only convert your tithe money back to fruits, vegetables and clean live stock, etc., at the location you will share it with a Levite if it is too far to transport it in the form God says it is to paid in.

8. Eat your tithe with the Levite.

9. Learn to fear and respect the Lord by doing one through eight above.

>> Why don't tithing teachers tell their faithful tithers this?...

> ref.; Deuteronomy 14:22-27

22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.

23 And thou shalt eat before the Lord thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the Lord thy God always.

24 And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the Lord thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the Lord thy God hath blessed thee:

25 Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the Lord thy God shall choose:

26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the Lord thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,

27 And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee.

IT'S NOT THEIRS! NEVER HAS BEEN, NEVER WILL BE!

We hear them read this to us week after week...

Malachi 3:10 - "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

Tithing teachers love to quote Malachi 3:10 as their "authority" to collect tithes from their congregations. In fact Malachi 3:10 was written under the authority of, and pursuant to the Law of Moses given to the Nation of Israel. It's a verse of scripture instructing the compliance to the Law such as seen here (but gives no such authority to any New Testament pastor, ministry or church to collect tithes from anyone)...

Malachi 3:7 - "Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from MINE ORDINANCES [i.e., the Law of Moses], and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?"

> How were they to obey God's ordinances and return to God? Among other important ways, obey Malachi 3:10.

And, Malachi 4:4 - "Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments."

> Who is Malachi 4:4 speaking to, who is the direct audience of Malachi 4:4? Answer; the Nation of Israel, the decedents of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. By obeying Malachi 3:10 and all the Law of Moses they would be complying with Malachi 4:4 and returning to God by doing so. Who is the intended direct audience of Malachi 3:10? These people...

Malachi 1:1 - "The burden of the word of the LORD to ISRAEL by Malachi."

Malachi 1:6 - "A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?"

Malachi 2:1 - "And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you."

In Hebrews 7:5 the Levites were recorded as being told to TAKE THE TITHE according to the Law of Moses...

Hebrews 7:5 - "And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to TAKE tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:"

We see the same commandment to the Levites in Nehemiah 10:38 to TAKE the tithe according to the Law of Moses...

Nehemiah 10:38 - "And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house."

Nehemiah 10:38 is derived from Numbers 18:26...

Numbers 18:26: - "Speak to the Levites and say to them: ‘When you receive from the Israelites the tithe I give you as your inheritance, you must present a tenth of that tithe as the Lord’s offering."

Audience context is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT when seeking to properly interpret scripture; who is speaking directly to who? Never under estimate the importance of audience context, it's a basic principle of Biblical Hermeneutics (the science of textual interpretation every student of the Bible must master). Who was God speaking to when Noah was told to build an Ark? Hint; NOT YOU, NOT YOUR CHURCH, NOT YOUR PASTOR. You are not the direct audience being spoken to, and have no commandment to build an Ark for a coming world wide flood. God's direct audience was Noah. We can learn much from Genesis chapters 6 to 8, but have no command to go into the Ark building business. That job was reserved for Noah and his family.

THUS FAR

So then, what have we seen thus far? This; The Levites were given the command to take tithes from the Nation of Israel by God via the Law of Moses...

Numbers 18:21 - "And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation."

The remaining Nation of Israel were to comply to the Law of Moses and surrender the tithes to the Levites...

Numbers 18:24 - "But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance."...

That is the Law of Moses.

JESUS SPEAKS OF THE LAW OF MOSES

While we in the New Testament are not under the law (Romans 6:14, Acts 15:24), yet the tithes (and tithing) that God commanded and how they are to be administered remain so, they remain under the Law of Moses and the personal property of the Tribe of Levi. Jesus stated very clearly...

Matthew 5:18-19 "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

Question; is heaven and earth still here? Yes, they are, therefore according to Jesus Christ the Law of Moses remains enforce, and is still in full affect, in full authority, including over the tithes.

THAT LAW GIVES CLEAR OWNERSHIP OF THE TITHE TO THE LEVITES; NOT TO YOU, OR YOUR CHURCH, OR YOUR PASTOR, OR ANYONE ELSE OTHER THAN THE LEVITE DESCENDED FROM ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB...

Numbers 18:21 - "And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation. "

Numbers 18:24 - "But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance."

God has never taken the tithe from the Levites and given it to anyone. Simply because we are not under the law does not give any Christian minister or any person the right to take the tithe from the ownership of the Levites and claim it for themselves or their organization. I live in the United States, and as such I am not subject to the laws of Great Britain, or Japan, or Egypt or any other nation, but that does not give me the right to travel to another country and violate their laws taking what is not mine.

The tithe remains forever the Levites and NO ONE ELES'S...

Numbers 18:23 - "But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance."

As noted in the past; In the New Covenant, no Apostle ever taught tithing, asked for a tithe, rebuked any person or church for not tithing, or received a tithe for themselves. Not one of them. The early church (i.e. Book of Acts) NEVER tithed. We have NO record of them doing so, not a single verse stating that tithing was practiced in the early church.

In the New Covenant there are no examples of anyone paying a tithe to anyone in any way shape or form. Matthew 23:23 takes place at a time under the Old Covenant, was a matter of the law of Moses, and does not instruct a Christian to tithe.

If based on the New Covenant, that Christians should be tithing, tithing instructions would be clearly included in the New Covenant for us to follow. There are no such instructions. We cannot tithe based on the Old Covenant because all tithing God had commanded in the Old Covenant was based on the Law of Moses, we are not under the Law of Moses. For Christians under the New Covenant, no such tithing instructions, terms, conditions or details are outlined anywhere in the New Covenant for us to follow; they simply do not exist.

THE TEST

God gave the tithe to the Levites, it was their personal property to take (Hebrews 7:5), THEY OWN IT; God said it was THEIRS to take (Nehemiah 10:38, Numbers 18:21-24).

Please show me IN SCRIPTURE where God has taken the tithe from the Levites and given it to any organization, or church or any ministry; Chapter and verse, requested...

ref.:

Numbers 18:21 - "And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation."

Numbers 18:24 - "But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance."

CAN YOU PRODUCE SCRIPTURE?

If you can't produce SCRIPTURE in proper context that IN FACT instructs a Christian to tithe you're a false teacher, a deceived person and you have nothing to offer...NOTHING. Not to mention that you're a LIAR...

"God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged." - Romans 3:4

THE BOTTOM LINE

The tithe is the property of the Tribe of Levi because the Law of Moses is still in authority over it. It's not yours to take. Never has been, NEVER WILL BE.

A REQUIREMENT TO TITHE?

A REQUIREMENT TO TITHE... 1. Does not continue into the New Testament. 2. Is not recorded as being practiced in the New Testament. 3. Is not...
