STOP TITHING; IT'S CANCELED AND NO LONGER A VALID COMMAND FOR ANYONE

STOP TITHING; IT'S CANCELED AND NO LONGER A VALID COMMAND FOR ANYONE

If you understand the flow of God's word, the path of redemption in God's word, the flow from Old to New Testament you will understand how this; Malachi 3:10 flows to this; Hebrews 7:18 which ends tithing because of this;

Hebrews 9:15-17 - "And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth."

>> THEREFORE...

Hebrews 7:18-19 - "For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God."

>> WHICH ENDS THIS...

Malachi 3:9-10 - "Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

>> AS STATED HERE...

Romans 6:14 - "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace."

Acts 15:24 - "Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:"

Romans 7:6 - "But now we are DELIVERED FROM THE LAW, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter."

Galatians 5:3 - "For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law."

Galatians 3:10 - "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them."

James 2:10 - "For whosoever shall keep the whole law and yet offend on one point, he is guilty of all."

Galatians 5:2-3 - "Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law."

>> YOU SAY "TITHING WAS NOT FROM THE LAW;" YOU ARE WRONG...

> Jesus explained it...

> ref. Matthew 23:23 - "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone."

> Hebrews confirmed it...

> ref. Hebrews 7:5 "And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:"

> Malachi instructed it...

> ref. Malachi 4:4 - "Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments." Malachi 3:7 - "Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?"

> Levicus established it (the tithe is introduced as Law)...

> ref. Levicus 27:30–34 "Every tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the trees, is the Lord’s; it is holy to the Lord. If a man wishes to redeem some of his tithe, he shall add a fifth to it. And every tithe of herds and flocks, every tenth animal of all that pass under the herdsman’s staff, shall be holy to the Lord. One shall not differentiate between good or bad, neither shall he make a substitute for it; and if he does substitute for it, then both it and the substitute shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.”> THE CLAIM; "Tithing was practiced before the law."

> THE CLAIM; "Tithing was practiced before the law."

> THE TRUTH; whether or not tithing was practiced before the law, after the law it still remains CANCELED, DISANNULLED, ENDED. Additionally; NOWHERE does the Bible, the Word of God instruct anyone to tithe because Jacob said he would tithe, or because Abraham tithed; such a command DOES NOT exist in God's Word.

No more tithing after Hebrews 7:18; Tithing is void, canceled, finished, weak, unprofitable, ended, disannulled, not required.

>> STOP LIVING IN BONDAGE TO TITHING; there is no such thing as "New Testament tithing," "grace tithing," "love tithing," "voluntary tithing" or any tithing under the New Testament; TITHING IS FOREVER ENDED.

41. If you don't tithe you're robbing God.

DID YOU NOTICE SOMETHING?

Did you notice how "convincing" those 41 points were? Yes, to many Christians they are convinced they must tithe because of statements made by tithing teachers like the ones above (and many more) that fool gullible poorly taught New Testament Believers into handing over ten percent of their income to deceptive liars.

Yet, in reality, NOT A SINGLE STATEMENT ABOVE IN THE LIST is backed by scripture in proper context, and are nothing more than false teaching not backed by the truth of God's word. They are the deceptive traditions of men, the claims of false teachers, designed to deceive and fool unlearned Christians.

The word of God warns us (I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU READ THEM ALL);

"And with all delusion of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved." - 2 Thessalonians 2:10

1 Timothy 6:5 - "Perverse disputings (or claims) of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself."

Matthew 15:3 - "But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?"

Titus 1:10-11 - "For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: WHO'S MOUTHS MUST BE STOPPED, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for FILTHY LUCRE'S SAKE."

Acts 17:11 - "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."

2 Timothy 4:3 - "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they draw to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto MYTHS."

Matthew 15:6b - "Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition."

Mark 7:13 - "Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye."

Hebrews 5:11-14 - "Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."

>> FOOTNOTE; If you believe that any one of the 41 points above are true and biblical, feel free to tell us which one and provide SCRIPTURE to prove your claim. But, be careful...

Proverbs 30:6 "Do not add to His Words, lest He reprove you and you be found a liar."

THE PRINCIPLE OF INHERITANCE

As with any topic of study in the Bible, there are principles and doctrines that must be examined that make up the body of facts concerning that particular subject. One principle (or doctrinal component) of the tithe is that of INHERITANCE.

There are many false teachers and false "ministers" claiming that you must "tithe" to them. Yet none of them can show you scripture were God has taken the tithe from the tribe of Levi and given it to them, they cannot show you where they have in fact inherited the tithe. The tribe of Levi received the tithe by way of inheritance, they were given the right and authority to receive (take) the tithe by inheritance, and by the Law of Moses as recorded in God's word...

Hebrews 7:5 - "And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:"

And;

Nehemiah 10:38 - "And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house."

THE CLARITY OF GOD'S WORD

God's word makes it very clear that from God the tribe of Levi has inherited the tithe. Your church, pastor or your favorite minister has NOT inherited it...

Numbers 18:20-24 - "And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.

And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation. Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die.

But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance.

But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance."

And;

Numbers 18:26 - "Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe."

Joshua 18:7 - "But the Levites have no part among you; for the priesthood of the LORD is their inheritance: and Gad, and Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh, have received their inheritance beyond Jordan on the east, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave them."

The New Testament church did not inherit the tithe, IT HAS NOT INHERITED ANY TITHE, neither has any minister in the church inherited a tithe, or the right and authority to receive a tithe. They have no right to do so at all!

ABRAHAM AND MELCHIZEDEK

What of Abraham's tithe to Melchizedek? Though there is no record of Melchizedek inheriting any tithe, and there is equally no record of God commanding Abraham to tithe to Melchizedek. Neither is there any scriptural command in the New or Old Testaments directed to a New Testament Christian to tithe anything to anyone. Abraham's tithe to Melchizedek was a one time voluntary event based on local customs, traditions and territorial laws. It was an event used by God to establish the superiority of the Melchizedek priesthood over the Levite priesthood...

Hebrews 7:6-7 - "But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises. And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better."

The establishment of the superiority of the Melchizedek priesthood over the Levite priesthood has been forever accomplished and no further tithes to Melchizedek need be given to continue establishing it. Or, as stated in God's word...

Psalms 110:4 - "The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek."

And;

Hebrews 7:17 - "For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec."  NOTE: "FOR EVER."

Furthermore, if Abraham is to be used as an example for tithing it must be noted that Abraham tithed to Melchizedek...TO MELCHIZEDEK, not to your church, ministry or any New Testament minister. There is no scripture authorizing any New Testament ministry or minister to receive tithes for Melchizedek or anyone else, and there is no need to do so. Paying so called "tithes" to you local church or favorite minister is NOT tithing as Abraham did and is a deceptive false practice that is based on false teaching.

CONCLUSION

Any church, ministry or minister from the New Testament asking for tithes from anyone is doing so without any authority from God. They have no authority, they have no right and they have no inheritance of any tithe. They are, by way of deception and false teaching, taking what is not theirs to take.

Christians have inherited much in and through Jesus Christ as recorded in the New Testament, yet the tithe is not one of them.

STOP STEALING MONEY, PASTORS!! YOUR DAY OF JUDGEMENT IS COMING, AND COMING QUICKLY

STOP STEALING MONEY, PASTORS!! YOUR DAY OF JUDGEMENT IS COMING, AND COMING QUICKLY;

2 Peter 2:3 - "And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not."

The book of Malachi, INCLUDING MALACHI 3:10, was written to, and was directly addressing THE CORRUPT PRIESTS OF THE NATION OF ISRAEL (Nehemiah 10:37-39) who were stealing, and failing to bring the TITHE OF THE TITHE to the Temple Storehouse in Jerusalem. It was NOT written to New Testament Christians, NOT written to New Testament churches authorizing anyone, including pastors, to take ten percent of anyone's income.

>> Read carefully and understand in PROPER CONTEXT;

Who was Malachi written to? Who were the commands of Malachi written to? Who's sin is being addresses? Malachi tells us very clearly...

1. Malachi 1:1 - "The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi."  ...TO ISRAEL, NOT THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH.

2. Malachi 1:2 - "I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,"  ...TO JACOB / ISRAEL, NOT THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH.

3. Malachi 1:6 - "A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?"  ...TO ISRAEL, TO THE CORRUPT PRIESTS OF ISRAEL, NOT THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH.

5. Malachi 2:1 - "And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you."  ...TO ISRAEL, TO THE CORRUPT PRIESTS OF ISRAEL, NOT THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH.

6. Malachi 2:8 - "But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts."  ...TO ISRAEL UNDER THE LAW OF MOSES, NOT THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH.

7. Malachi 2:9 - "Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law."  ...TO ISRAEL, TO THE CORRUPT PRIESTS OF ISRAEL, NOT THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH.

8. Malachi 2:11 - "Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god."  ...TO JUDAH OF ISRAEL, NOT THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH.

9. Malachi 2:16 - "For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously."  ...TO ISRAEL, NOT THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH.

10. Malachi 3:1 - "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts."  ...TO ISRAEL, THE FUTURE TEMPLE IN ISRAEL, NOT THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH.

11. Malachi 3:7 - "Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?" ...TO ISRAEL UNDER THE LAW ("MINE ORDINANCES") OF MOSES, NOT THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH. THE NEW TESTAMENT CHUCH IS NOT UNDER THE LAW OF MOSES.

12. Malachi 3:8-9 - "Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation." ...TO THE NATION OF ISRAEL, TO THE CORRUPT PRIESTS OF ISRAEL, NOT THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH.

13. Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."  ...THE TITHE OF THE TITHE BROUGHT TO THE TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM IN ISRAEL BY LEVITES, NOT TO A NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH;

Nehemiah 10:37-39 - "And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage. And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house. For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God."

14. Malachi 3:12 - "And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts."  ...WHO WILL CALL WHO BLESSED? OTHER NATIONS WILL CALL ISRAEL BLESSED, NOT THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH WHO ARE BLESSED THOUGH GRACE AND JESUS CHRIST.

WHY WILL ISRAEL IN THAT TIME BE CALLED "BLESSED?" BECAUSE IF THEY WOULD HAVE OBEYED THE LAW OF MOSES THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN BLESSED; THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH IS NOT UNDER THE LAW OF MOSES AND CANNOT BE BLESSED BY KEEPING IT;

"For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." - Romans 6:14

15. Malachi 3:14 - "Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?"  ...WHO WAS CALLED TO KEEP THE LAW OF MOSES? THE NATION OF ISRAEL, NOT THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH;

"He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel." Psalm 147:20 - "He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord." - Psalm 147:19-20

16. Malachi 4:4 - "Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments."  ...TO ISRAEL UNDER THE LAW OF MOSES, NOT THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH.

17. Malachi 4:5-6 - "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse."  ...A PROMISE TO THE NATION OF ISRAEL, A BENEFIT TO THE WHOLE EARTH, YET REMAINS A PROMISE TO THE NATION OF ISRAEL.

>> CONCLUSION;

Who was Malachi 3:10 written to, tithing teachers?? ANSWER; THE NATION OF ISRAEL, NOT TO THE NEW TESTAMENT CHUCH. The New Testament Church can learn much from the Book of Malachi, but the Book of Malachi was directed to the Nation of Israel, not a direction for New Testament pastors or other ministers to take ten percent of anyone's income.

THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH IS NOT THE NATION OF ISRAEL, AND HAS NO COMMANDMENT TO TITHE. The New Testament Church has NO PASTOR, or other minister authorized to take tithes from anyone. STOP STEALING MONEY, PASTORS!!

FOOLISH ARGUMENTS FROM TITHING PROMOTERS

Tithers and tithing teachers, in their desperation to keep tithing continued into the New Testament often make the foolish claim that "nothing in the New Testament tells us not to tithe." In fact, the New Testament does clearly put and end to tithing (see comments below). But, in regards to the fools claim of the New Testament "not putting an end to tithing therefore it should continue;" why haven't these commandments been ended also? Why do we not obey them? Are they to continue, why only tithing?...

Other Old Testament Laws that Were Not Specifically Repealed in the New Testament.
..

Deuteronomy 23:2 – Don’t let illegitimate children in the Assembly of God.

Deuteronomy 25:5-10 – If your brother dies, you have to marry his wife so she can have a son.

Deuteronomy 25:11-12 – If a woman hurts a man’s testicles, you should cut off her hand

Deuteronomy 21: 20-21 – You can beat your slave within an inch of his life.

Leviticus 15:19 – A woman must be quarantined for 7 days if she’s on her period.

Leviticus 19:19 – Don’t mix cotton with polyester in your clothes.

Leviticus 21:5 – Ministers can’t shave their head or their beard.

Leviticus 21:16-23 – No one with a defect can approach the altar of God.

Numbers 8:24 – Ministers can only serve if they are older than 25, and the can’t serve more than 25 years.

Leviticus 20:9 – Rebellious children are to be put to death.

ARE THE ABOVE COMMANDMENTS TO CONTINUE INTO THE NEW TESTAMENT ALONG WITH TITHING? Why not? ...nothing in the New Testament specifically ends any requirement in that list. If tithing has not been put to an end, why hasn't Deuteronomy 23:2, Deuteronomy 25:5-10, Deuteronomy 25:11-12, etc?

TITHING HAS IN FACT CLEARLY BEEN ENDED BY THE NEW TESTAMENT;

HEBREWS CHAPTER SEVEN...

What is DISANNULLED? What is WEAK? What is UNPROFITABLE? These three...

1. The Levitical Priesthood (which could bring perfection [salvation] TO NO ONE, Hebrews 7:11).

2. The Law of Moses relative to New Testament Christians who are NOT UNDER THE LAW (Romans 6:14, Acts 15:24).

3. Tithing, which is of the law of Moses (Hebrews 7:5, Numbers 18:21-24, Matthew 23:23).

In Hebrews Chapter Seven tithing is mentioned 7 times, verses number; 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 9 again, focusing CLEARLY ON TITHING, and while proving the superiority of Christ's priesthood, ALSO places tithing (along with the rest of the law of Moses) in a position of INFERIORITY and declares...

ALL THREE ARE WEAK, ALL THREE ARE UNPROFITABLE, AND ALL THREE ARE DISANNULLED (CANCELED)...INCLUDING TITHING.

"For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof." - Hebrews 7:18

MALACHI 3:10

God never designated money as suitable for tithing. A minimal of 17 times in through the Old and New Testaments God states that the tithe shall be fruits, vegetables (or derivatives of fruits such as oil or juice) and clean animals grown on (or born on) the Promise Land. Even in Malachi 3:10 (the flag ship scripture for tithing teachers) the tithes are described as MEAT (food), not money.

>> Tithe scriptures designating the tithe limited to agricultural produce from the Promise Land...

> Lev. 27:30, 32 "And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’s. It is holy to the LORD.… And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passes under the rod, the tenth shall be holy to the LORD."

> Num. 18:27 "And this your heave offering shall be reckoned to you, as though it were the grain of the threshing-floor, and as the fullness of the wine-press."

> Num. 18:28 "Thus you also shall offer a heave offering to the LORD of all your tithes, which you receive of the children of Israel; and you shall give thereof the LORD’s heave offering to Aaron the priest."

>>> Scriptural References, Part Two; THE SCRIPTURES CLEARLY DESIGNATING THE USE OF MONEY (CURRENCY) AS FAR BACK AS ABRAHAM UP TO THE TIME OF JESUS AND THE BOOK OF ACTS;

Tithing teachers will often claim that fruits, vegetables and clean animals were the "currency of the day in Israel," and that they "didn't have money as we know it," so therefore money can be used to tithe. That is a lie as scripture reveals...

>>> List of scriptures showing the use of money in the Old and New Testaments (NOTE CLOSELY; MONEY IS NEVER MENTIONED AS BEING USED TO PAY A TITHE...NOT EVEN ONCE)...

Genesis 23;12-16 "But Abraham bowed before the Hittites 13 and said to Ephron, so that everyone could hear, “May I ask you, please, to listen. I will buy the whole field. Accept my payment, and I will bury my wife there.” Ephron answered, “Sir, land worth only four hundred pieces of silver—what is that between us? Bury your wife in it.” 16 Abraham agreed and weighed out the amount that Ephron had mentioned in the hearing of the people—four hundred pieces of silver, according to the standard weights used by the merchants."

Exodus 38:28 "And of the thousand seven hundred seventy and five shekels he made hooks for the pillars, and overlaid their chapiters, and filleted them.'

Exodus 38:29 "And the brass of the offering was seventy talents, and two thousand and four hundred shekels."

Leviticus 5:15 "If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering:'

Leviticus 27:3 "And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

Leviticus 27:4 "And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.'

Leviticus 27:5 "And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.'

Leviticus 27:6 "And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver."

Leviticus 27:7 "And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.'

Leviticus 27:16 "And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD some part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver."

Numbers 3:47 "Thou shalt even take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them: (the shekel is twenty)"

Numbers 3:50 "Of the firstborn of the children of Israel took he the money; a thousand three hundred and threescore and five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:"

Matthew 21:12-13 "And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves."

Mark 12:41-42 "And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing."

Acts 8:20 "But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money."

> Note: 17 times in God's Word the tithe is declared to be fruits, vegetables and clean animals from the Promise Land, and 14 times that we have listed above, God's Word records the use of money over a long period of time.

> Conclusion; We must always seek and accept God's description of anything. If God declares in His word that the tithe shall be fruits, vegetables and clean animals from the Promise Land, then that is how it is, that is reality, that is truth. God means what He says, and says EXACTLY what He means; that includes what He says about tithing; there is within God's Word NO SUCH THING AS MONETARY TITHING (THE TITHING OF MONEY).

YOU CAN'T DISPROVE THE FACTS

FACT...

The Law of Moses is still valid and in affect today. Christians are not under the Law of Moses, ("For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." - Romans 6:14), but that has not ended, ceased or abolished the Law of Moses, or put an end to the authority of the Law of Moses. Is earth still here? Yes, therefore the Law of Moses is still alive and in affect. Christians do not need to be under the Law of Moses, of which we are not, in order for the Law of Moses to be alive and valid.

PROOF SCRIPTURE...

Matthew 5:17-19 - "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

FACT...

Tithing was a matter of the Law of Moses. That is to say that God's command to tithe was established by the Law, regulated by the Law, described by the Law, administered by the Law, organized by the Law, given to the Levites by God stated through the Law. Outside of the Law of Moses there is no command given to anyone to tithe anything in neither the Old or New Testament.

PROOF SCRIPTURE...

Hebrews 7:5 - "And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:"

Malachi 3:7 - "Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?"

Malachi 4:4 - "Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments."

FACT...

The ownership of the tithe was given to the Levites, the tithe was their personal property, their inheritance given to them by divine decree, they own it. The tithe remains so according to the Law of Moses and Jesus Christ until heaven and earth passes away. Nowhere in God's word has God taken the tithe from the Levites and given it to any pastor, any minister, any organization in any way shape or form. No church, no pastor, no minister, no organization, no person has the right, permission or authority to ask for the tithe, demand a tithe or the right to receive a tithe. There exists NO SCRIPTURE where God has taken the tithe from the Levites and given it to anyone, or given anyone the right to receive a tithe...NOWHERE, NO ONE.

PROOF SCRIPTURE...

Numbers 18:20-22 - "And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel. And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation."

Numbers 18:24 - "But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance."

CONCLUSION...

Any New Testament minister, or organization, or anyone else taking tithes from a Christian (or from anyone) is a thief and a deceiver clearly taking what is not theirs. They are stealing.

PROOF SCRIPTURE...

If you steal tithes govern by the Law, then you can face the punishment of the Law.

Leviticus 6:1-6 - "And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour; Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein: Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found, Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering. And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest:"

James 2:10-11 - "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law."

Galatians 5:3 - "For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law."

Note: "circumcised" ... ergo; keeping the Law.

Note: "debtor to do the whole law" ...  under the authority of, and will be punished by the Law of Moses.

RETURNING TO GOD IN THE TITHE

God's Word tells us;

"Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?" - Malachi 3:7

How does God's word say that one is to return to God in the Book of Malachi?

>> First, God answers with a question setting the stage for His commandment and His answer in chapter three of Malachi;

"Will a man rob God?"

>> Second, God makes a statement and addresses the question;

"Yet ye have robbed me."

>> Third, God anticipates another question;

"But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee?"

>> Forth, God answers the question;

"In tithes and offerings."

>> Fifth, relative to this discussion between God and man on returning to Him; what did God say tithing was?

Answer; tithing was returning to His ordinances, to His Law, the Law of Moses...

"Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts." - Malachi 3:7a

"Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments." - Malachi 4:4

THE RESULTS;

By tithing based on Malachi 3:10, tithing on the ordinances of God, you're placing yourself back under the Law of Moses which we are given in the New Testament the following warnings concerning...

"For I testify again to every man that is circumcised [a keeper of the Law], that he is a debtor to do the whole law." - Galatians 5:3

And...

"For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all." - James 2:10

And...

"For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them." - Galatians 3:10

CONCLUSION;

New Testament Christians are not under the Law of Moses and have NO COMMAND from God to tithe anything to anyone at any time.

"For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." - Romans 6:14

“He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter [the law] but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” - 2 Corinthians 3:6

"Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster." - Galatians 3:24-25

TITHING MONEY; GOD FORBIDS DOING SO

1. God forbids the tithing of money, if the tithe is in the form of money it MUST NOT be given to anyone, one must BIND IT to their hand. Speaking of the tithe temporarily converted to money for purposes of transportation, God's word tells us...

"Then shalt thou turn it into money, and BIND UP THE MONEY in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the Lord thy God shall choose:" - Deuteronomy 14:25. In other words, God did not want anyone paying a tithe in the form of money, NO ONE WAS TO DO SO. Doing so was forbidden.

2. The Word of God also tells us...

"For I testify again to every man that is circumcised [a keeper of the Law], that he is a debtor to do the whole law." - Galatians 5:3

And...

"For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all." - James 2:10

If you pay a tithe in the form of money, you are in violation of Deuteronomy 14:25 and are in sin, YOU HAVE VIOLATED THE WHOLE LAW.

Also...

"For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them." - Galatians 3:10

3. IF YOU ARE PAYING A TITHE IN THE FORM OF MONEY, YOU ARE IN VIOLATION OF GOD'S WORD (Deuteronomy 14:25) AND HAVE BROUGHT A CURSE (PUNISMENT) ON YOURSELF.

GOD SAYS "USE TITHE MONEY TO BUY WINE AND WHATEVER YOUR HEART DESIRES TO BUY WITH IT."

If we are supposed to be tithing money, or tithing at all for that matter, as tithing teachers claim; why are we not supposed to be doing what God says with the tithe money? Like this...

1. Do not pay the tithe in the form of money. Keep the money in your hand (bind it to your hand) until you...

2. Buy wine with it.

3. Buy strong drink (harder liqueur) with it.

4. Buy livestock and other food.

5. Buy whatever you desire, whatever you lust after.

6. Share what you buy with a Levite and your family.

7. Only convert your tithe money back to fruits, vegetables and clean live stock, etc., at the location you will share it with a Levite if it is too far to transport it in the form God says it is to paid in.

8. Eat your tithe with the Levite.

9. Learn to fear and respect the Lord by doing one through eight above.

>> Why don't tithing teachers tell their faithful tithers this?...

> ref.; Deuteronomy 14:22-27

22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.

23 And thou shalt eat before the Lord thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the Lord thy God always.

24 And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the Lord thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the Lord thy God hath blessed thee:

25 Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the Lord thy God shall choose:

26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the Lord thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,

27 And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee.

REBUKE THE DEVOURER FOR YOUR SAKE?

Tithing teachers will often attempt to deceive people into tithing to them (handing over 10% of their income) by claiming that by doing so God will "rebuke the devourer for your sakes."

The devourer, of course, being debt, financial problems, the devil, and anything the tither believes is being "devoured" (or taken from them) in their lives that they believe they should posses.

The scriptures tithing teachers refer to are these often used verses...

"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts." - Malachi 3:10-11

The sad part of all of this is that for the New Testament Church, that is to say for New Testament Believers, God has already done something for us SO MUCH GREATER than merely rebuking a devourer for us based on Old Testament tithing instructions.

JESUS' TRIUMPH OVER DEATH, THE GRAVE AND HELL

We have no need to tithe in an attempt to motivate God to rebuke the devourer for us, God has done far more than that for us. God has handed satan THE ULTIMATE INFINATELY POWERFUL REBUKE which is eternal, utterly devastating and DID NOT REQUIRE ANYONE TO TITHE ANYTHING!

Satan, and anything he would attempt to use to devour us, has been rebuked FOREVER by Jesus' perfect sacrifice on the cross and Jesus' triumphant resurrection! There is NO STRONGER REBUKE POSSIBLE.

Concerning satan being rebuked by God, the word of God says this...

"Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it." - Colossians 2:15 ...THAT IS WHAT I CALL A REBUKE!!

Colossians 2:15 states that Christ “disarmed the rulers and authorities.” To whom does this phrase refer? The combination of “rulers and authorities” appears elsewhere in Paul’s writings in reference to human authorities (See; Titus 3:1), but more often it applies to spiritual powers (See; Ephesians 3:10; 6:12). When we compare Colossians with Ephesians (its parallel epistle), we see that “thrones, dominions, rulers, and authorities” are obviously spiritual entities, whether angels or demons (See; Ephesians 1:21; 2:2; 3:10; 6:12).

The word of God also tells us this...

"Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might DESTROY the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery." - Hebrews 2:14-15

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." - Romans 8:37

CONCLUSION

If you are a New Testament Believer, YOU DO NOT NEED to give ten percent of your income TO ANYONE in order for God to give you victory over the devil, the devourer, or anything!

Anyone telling you that you must tithe to them, or to anyone, for God to give you victory IS A LIAR.

Satan, the devourer, has been eternally REBUKED for your sake, on your behalf, THAT IS ALREADY REALITY.

How do we live in the victory God has given us? By believing God's Word who tells us...

1 John 4:4...

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

1 John 5:4...

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”

1 Corinthians 15:57...

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

DON'T TITHE TO ANYONE; all they're trying to do is sell you something GOD HAS ALREADY GIVEN TO YOU AS A GIFT.

STOREHOUSE TITHING?...THREE FACTS ABOUT TITHING (not well liked by tithers or tithing teachers)...

STOREHOUSE TITHING?...THREE FACTS ABOUT TITHING (not well liked by tithers or tithing teachers)...

>> 1. The NON-Levites were permitted to bring OFFERINGS to the Temple / Storehouse (chambers) and present them to the Priests...

"And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God;" - Nehemiah 10:27(a)

>> 2. But, the NON-Levites were NOT authorized to bring the tithe (i.e., the tithe of the tithe) to the Temple / Storehouse (chambers) and present them to the Priests...

"and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage. And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house." - Nehemiah 10:27(b)-38

The Levites, accompanied by, and managed by a Priest descended from Aaron, were to take the tithe of the land from their brethren (see; Hebrews 7:5) at the cities of their tillage, and were to transport 1/10th of the tithe to the Temple / Storehouse (chambers). (see; Malachi 2:1, Malachi 3:8-10)

>> 3. If the NON-Levites attempted to "bring a tithe to the Temple / Storehouse (chambers)," they would bare sin and die.

IN THE CLEAR CONTEXT OF TITHING; this is found in Numbers 18:21-22...

"And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth [the tithe] in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation. Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die." ..."BEAR SIN, AND DIE."

With an exception of the Levites accompanied by a Priest descended from Aaron, the people of the Nation of Israel, God's people, were NOT authorized by God to bring any tithes to the Temple / Storehouse. God's Word makes it clear that the only Children of Israel that were to bring any portion of the tithe to the Temple / Storehouse were the Levites with Priests descended from Aaron. The remaining tribes were forbidden to approach ("come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation") the House of God with their tithes.

CONCLUSION;

The NON-Levites could bring an offering to the Priest/Temple/Chambers or Temple Storehouse, but were NOT permitted to bring any tithe to the Temple Storehouse lest they bare sin and DIE. So much for the modern false and faddish unbiblical teaching of "storehouse tithing" falsely taught by tithing teachers to Christians.

I believe that God says what He means and means what He says. DON'T ALTER OR ADD TO GOD'S HOLY WORD!...

"You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you." - Deuteronomy 4:2

"Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to nor take away from it." - Deuteronomy 12:32

"And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinims, and all they that had separated themselves from the people of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one having knowledge, and having understanding; They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God's law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;" - Nehemiah 10:28-29

"Recognizing the importance of storehouse tithing"

The Church of the Nazarene in their "manual" states the following;

"Storehouse Tithing. Storehouse tithing is a scriptural and practical performance of faithfully and regularly placing the tithe into that church to which the member belongs. Therefore, the financing of the church shall be based on the plan of storehouse tithing, and the local Church of the Nazarene shall be regarded by all of its people as the storehouse. All who are a part of the Church of the Nazarene are urged to contribute faithfully one-tenth of all their increase as a minimum financial obligation to the Lord and freewill offerings in addition as God has prospered them for the support of the whole church, local, district, educational, and general. The tithe, provided to the local Church of the Nazarene, shall be considered a priority over all other giving opportunities which God may lay upon the hearts of His faithful stewards, in support of the whole church."

Paying Close Attention to Scripture

Almost all tithing teachers rely on and abuse the Book of Malachi to promote their false doctrine of "tithing for Christians." They will routinely quote Malachi 3:8-10...

"Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

...and, by quoting Malachi 3:8-10, convince and deceive their followers into believing that this passage of scripture is "absolute proof" that as Christians they are commanded to tithe.

Sadly, as with all false teachers, they are cherry picking scripture, that is to say, quoting bits and pieces of scripture out of context, or quoting scripture in isolation from other scriptures which would render their interpretation of the isolated scripture in error. As Malachi continued in writing, placing Malachi 3:8-10 back in proper context, Malachi makes this statement...

"Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments." - Malachi 4:4

That statement by Malachi, Malachi 4:4, firmly identifies Malachi's commandment to "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse" as a commandment of the Law of Moses; that fact could not be clearer. When Malachi wrote Malachi 4:4, the Nation of Israel, descendants of Abraham and Sarah, had the Law of Moses as their national law, it was, so to speak, their "Federal Law."

The Nation of Israel being under Law of Moses when Malachi was writing (or sometimes called "The Law," or "The Torah") leads to several facts tithing teachers tend to avoid when quoting Malachi in their teachings on tithing, and they are these...

>> 1. Christians, Believers under the New Testament, are NOT under the Law.  Malachi 3:8-10 does NOT apply to New Testament Christians, and is NOT a commandment to Christians to be involved in any form of tithing.

"For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." - Romans 6:14

"But now we are DELIVERED FROM THE LAW, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter." - Romans 7:6

"Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster." - Galatians 3:24-25

"Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave NO such commandment:" - Acts 15:24

>> 2. If Christians were under The Law, in order to keep from being cursed, they would have to perfectly obey ALL of the Law at all times never once failing to do so. Failing in one point one time results in curses and damnation...

"For whosoever shall keep the whole law and yet offend on one point, he is guilty of all." - James 2:10

Also, Deuteronomy tells us...

"Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen." - Deuteronomy 27:26

>> 3. God has never held Gentile nations or Gentile people to live under the Law of Moses...

"He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD." - Psalm 147:19-20

>> 4. If a Christian, or anyone, is attempting to "tithe" pursuant to Malachi 3:8-10, they are placing themselves back under the Law, subject to the curse of the Law, and are involved in works of the Law and are NOT of faith...

"However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, "HE WHO PRACTICES THEM SHALL LIVE BY THEM." - Galatians 3:12

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9

"because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin." - Romans 3:20

>> 5. Malachi 4:4 is CLEARLY a game changer for tithing teachers who lie, abuse scripture, and deceive their followers. It changes the game, or the situation, from lies to the truth.

We as Believers, under grace, are NOT under the Law, and Malachi's call to tithe, being a commandment of the Law, does NOT apply to Christians. To claim that Malachi 3:8-10 is instructions for a Christian to tithe IS A LIE and a DOCTRINE OF DEVILS taught by men and women who are deceivers. Text taken out of context is a pre-text to deceptive text. The word of God is not deceptive, but can be quoted and used in a deceptive manner.

We are to be free will givers, NOT tithers, giving as we are encouraged by God's Spirit to do so.

>>> Final thought; we are warned...

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they draw to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto myths." - 2 Timothy 4:3

And...

"For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: WHO's MOUTHS MUST BE STOPPED, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for FILTHY LUCRE'S SAKE (money derived through lies and deception)." - Titus 1:10-11
