THE NEW TESTAMENT AND TITHING

In the New Testament, the Covenant that Christians are under...

1. There are no guidelines for "Christian tithing" or "New Covenant tithing."

2. There is no record of early Christians paying any form of a tithe to anyone, or that a Christian was instructed to "bring any tithe to any storehouse," or that a New Testament fellowship is a "storehouse to be tithed to."

3. No Apostle commanded or instructed tithing, received a tithe, rebuked any Christians or Church for not tithing or referred to anyone as a routine "tither." The Old or New Testament records no time or place where God has taken the tithe from the Levites and given it to any New Testament church, pastor, minister and anyone else.

4. The first Church Council, held in Jerusalem in 50AD, did not conclude or instruct that anyone had to tithe anything, and did not refer to any form of "New Testament tithing." Additionally; Hebrews 7:8 instructs no New Testament Christian to tithe, and Hebrews 7:18 clearly puts an end to, and cancels tithing for anyone under the New Testament.

5. The New Testament makes no reference to Abraham's tithe to Melchisedec as being an example to follow.

6. The New Testament records Abraham tithing only once to Melchisedec, and not to any church, pastor, or any other ministry or person in the Old or New Testament.

7. The New Testament makes no mention of any curses for not tithing, or any blessings or advantages resulting from tithing. The New Testament does not include Malachi 3:10 as a command for Christians to tithe.

8. The New Testament makes no changes to what the Old Testament clearly states the tithe was to consist of; namely fruits, vegetables and clean livestock from the Promise Land. The Bible, New or Old Testament does not command the paying of monetary tithes from anywhere including from one's income.

9. The New Testament does not conclude that ministers, teachers, pastors, churches should instruct Christians to tithe, or that "tithe challenges" are appropriate Church activities.

10. The Gospels, or any other Book in the New Testament does not record Jesus or His Disciples tithing, or referring to any future requirement of His Disciples to tithe under a New Covenant.

11. The New Testament does not state that anyone has to tithe to be saved, or that you maintain a covenant with God by tithing, or that the devourer will be rebuked for a Christian's sake by tithing.

12. The New Testament does not refer to Jacob as an example of tithing to be followed; the Bible, New or Old Testament records no incident of Jacob tithing, or Adam tithing or Abel tithing, or any tithing before the flood.

CONCLUSION; the New Testament does not instruct Christians to tithe anything to anyone. There exists no command in the New Testament directed toward Christians to tithe.

THE FACTS ABOUT DECEPTIVE TITHING TEACHERS

THE FACTS ABOUT DECEPTIVE TITHING TEACHERS...

> They falsely claim that ten percent of your income belongs to them or their organization which they deceptively call "a storehouse to tithe to." The Bible says the authentic tithes belong to the Levites (see; Numbers 18:20-24, Hebrews 7:5) and has never been taken back, or given to any New Testament church or ministry.

> They terrorize Christians and entire households by claiming that without tithing the Christian will be cursed and forfeit blessings (see; Acts 15:24, Titus 1:10-11).

> They lie to Christians claiming that tithing brings blessings, yet the Bible says such blessings only came from obeying ALL the Law of Moses, not merely obeying Malachi 3:10 alone (see; Deuteronomy 27:26, James 2:10, Galatians 5:3).

> They accuse non-tithing Christians of robbing God, when in reality they are the ones robbing Christians and robbing God (see; 2 Peter 2:3).

> They deceptively claim that their tithers are "tithing to God," yet they take the "tithe money" for themselves (see; Romans 16:18).

> They claim their church or organization is a storehouse to be tithed to, yet the Bible makes no such statement of any New Testament church described as "a storehouse to be tithed to." The storehouse is only described as a storage facility attached to the Temple in Jerusalem and the Levite Cities in Israel, never in any other country or location (see; Nehemiah 10:37-39).

> They claim that God's tithe was money (monetary), when in fact money from personal income was never tithed on, a "tithe" in the form of money was commanded to be spent on your family, and no scripture describes the Biblical tithe ever taken as "money from income" (see; Deuteronomy 14:24-27).

> Tithing teachers employ shaming, threats, false doctrine, claims that tithing brings in financial gain, misleading and emotional appeals to "bring in the tithe" deceiving guilting people into tithing (see; Acts 15:24, Titus 1:10-11, Hebrews 5:12-14).

> Tithing teachers claim that without tithing the devourer will not be rebuked for your sake, when in fact Colossians says it already was rebuked by Jesus on the Cross without a need for New Testament Believers tithing to anyone (see; Colossians 2:15).

> Tithing teachers claim Malachi 3:10 is a command to hand over ten percent of your income to them; fact - Malachi 3:10 was written to the Nation of Israel under the Law of Moses (see; Malachi 1:1, 2:1, 3:7, 4:4), the New Testament Church is not the Nation of Israel and not under the Law of Moses (see; Acts 15:24, Romans 6:4, Hebrews 7:18, Galatians 3:10), and has no command to tithe anything to anyone. Additionally; Malachi 3:10 must only be acted on based on and by instructions of the Law of Moses, ergo; God's ordinances (see; Malachi 3:7).

> They claim you are to tithe money; the Bible says "tithes" in the form of money are NOT to be used to pay a tithe (bound to your hand), and ARE to be spent on your family (see; Deuteronomy 14:24-27).

> They claim you are to tithe because Abraham tithed; the Bible makes no such command to either the Nation of Israel or to the New Testament Church. Abraham is never cited in the Bible as an example of tithing to be followed, not to the Nation of Israel or to the New Testament church.

> They claim you are to tithe because Jacob tithed; the Bible makes no such command to either the Nation of Israel or to the New Testament Church, and records no time in which Jacob tithed anything to anyone. > They claim that the Apostles instructed tithing to the New Testament Church, yet In the New Testament no Apostle ever instructed tithing, asked for a tithe, rebuked any person or church for not tithing, or received a tithe. Not one of them. The early church seen in the Book of Acts NEVER tithed. We have NO record of them doing so. In fact, The Book of Acts records this...

"Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave NO such commandment:" - Acts 15:24

HAD ENOUGH OF THE EVIL LIES OF TITHING TEACHERS YET?

Need any further lies to understand how deceptive they are? There are plenty more.
