STUPID COMMENTS FROM TITHERS
Answering four STUPID comments from tithers...
>> STUPID COMMENT ONE; the foolish question "where did God tell us to stop tithing?"
Answer; Why would God instruct the Church to stop doing something He has NEVER instructed us to do to begin with? The New Covenant contains no commands to tithe anything to anyone. Who is the "us" you refer to? There is no "us" in the New Testament church who has been instructed by God to tithe. The Nation of Israel was instructed to tithe, not the New Testament Church.
No Apostle instructed anyone to tithe, rebuked anyone for not tithing, received a tithe for themselves or said we should be tithing to churches. If tithing was part of that foundation of the New Testament church the apostles and prophets would have made that very clear in the Holy Spirit inspired scriptures that they wrote. In fact In the New Testament no Apostle ever instructed tithing, asked for a tithe, rebuked any person or church for not tithing, or received a tithe. Not one of them. The early church seen in the Book of Acts never tithed. We have no record of them doing so. In fact, The Book of Acts records this...
"Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave NO such commandment:" - Acts 15:24
>> STUPID COMMENT TWO; the foolish question "where did God say it's a sin to tithe?" or, asked arrogantly as if we have no possible answer; "is it a sin to tithe?"
Answer; When God ends something, when God cancels something, YES, IT IS SIN TO CONTINUE TO DO IT. That should be obvious to any thinking person.
HEBREWS CHAPTER SEVEN; TITHING CANCELED BY THE NEW TESTAMENT...
What is DISANNULLED? What is WEAK? What is UNPROFITABLE? These three;
1. The Levitical Priesthood (which could bring perfection [salvation] TO NO ONE, Hebrews 7:11).
2. The Law of Moses relative to New Testament Christians who are NOT UNDER THE LAW (Romans 6:14, Acts 15:24).
3. Tithing, which is of the law of Moses (Hebrews 7:5, Numbers 18:21-24, Malachi 3:7, Malachi 4:4, Matthew 23:23).
In Hebrews Chapter Seven tithing is mentioned 7 times, verses number; 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 9 again, VERSES CLEARLY INCLUDING TITHING, and while proving the superiority of Christ's priesthood, ALSO places tithing (along with the rest of the law of Moses) in a position of INFERIORITY and declares...
ALL THREE ARE WEAK, ALL THREE ARE UNPROFITABLE, AND ALL THREE ARE DISANNULLED (CANCELED)...INCLUDING TITHING, FOREVER;
Hebrews 7:18-19 - "For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God."
>> STUPID COMMENT THREE; the foolish claim of "tithing was practiced before the law."
Which proves what relative to tithing?? ...absolutely NOTHING. Whether or not tithing was practiced before the law, after the law it still remains CANCELED, DISANNULLED, ENDED. How does tithing, practiced before the law (the Law of Moses), prove that tithing is to be practiced after the law? It clearly does not. No scripture states that any New Testament Christian must tithe because Abraham did.
NOWHERE does the Bible, the Word of God instruct anyone to tithe because Jacob said he would tithe, or because Abraham tithed; such a command DOES NOT exist in God's Word. Hebrews 7:18 tells us; "For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof."
No further tithing after Hebrews 7:18; Tithing is void, canceled, finished, weak, unprofitable, ended, disannulled, not required, AND IS NOT PART OF THE FOUNDATION OF THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH. The teaching of "New Testament tithing" of any kind is false doctrine.
>> STUPID COMMENT FOUR; the foolish claim of "Jacob was a tither."
Jacob made a VOW to tithe. A vow is in effect over ONE PERSON, the person making the vow. It is not a commandment others must obey. Jacob's vow was descriptive, NOT prescriptive. Nowhere did God tells us "Jacob vowed to tithe, you do the same."
NO SCRIPTURE records Jacob tithing anything to anyone. Even if Jacob would have tithed, it would have been based ON A VOW HE MADE UP, NOT a commandment or instructions of God. NO SCRIPTURE cites Jacob as a reason to tithe or an example of tithing to be followed.
ADDTIONALLY; NO SCRIPTURE records Abraham being given a commandment or instructions from God to tithe, or that he tithed by faith, or expected anything back for tithing, or that he did so other than one time to Melchisedec, or any other lies and garbage taught by false tithing teachers. NO SCRIPTURE cites Abraham as a reason to tithe or an example of tithing to be followed.
>> CONCLUSION; please stop posting your stupid comments, not only are they foolish, they prove you to be an unlearned person, and they're just down right boring!
