ALL OR NOTHING

ALL OR NOTHING

Tithing teachers claim you will be blessed by Malachi 3:10. They love to quote it over and over again, YET COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTEXT...

"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

WANT THE BLESSING? HERE IS HOW YOU GET IT (the proper context)

The blessing of Malachi 3:10 came ONLY from TOTAL obedience to ALL of the Law of Moses (all 613 Laws of the Law of Moses); break even ONE law, just ONE command, and you are cursed!

Malachi 3:7 - "Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?"

LOOK CLOSELY; "ORDINANCES," NOT "ORDINANCE." All of them; not one, not a few, not most, ALL OF THEM! As scripture tells us...

Deuteronomy 27:26 - "Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen."

And this...

James 2:10 - "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

And this...

Galatians 5:3 - "For I testify again to every man that is circumcised [i.e., keeping the Law of Moses], that he is a debtor to do the whole law."

THE TEST

Malachi 3:10, according to Malachi 3:7 was a test to see if the Nation of Israel, in particular the priesthood of Israel (Malachi 1:1, Malachi 1:6, Malachi 2:1) would return to God and obey ALL, NOT JUST SOME, ALL OF HIS COMMANDMENTS;

Malachi 4:4 - "Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments."

The entire Law of Moses was a test, not merely concerning or limited to tithing. Obey all the law and you are blessed; break one and you are cursed. God cannot bless a New Covenant Christian for obedience to an Old Covenant conditional promise. One of the reasons is this...

Hebrews 7:18 - "For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof." Christians are not under the Law of Moses and CANNOT be blessed by it; Galatians 2:19 - "For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God." ... Galatians 2:21 - "I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain."

And this...

Nehemiah 10:29 - "They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God's law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;"

CONTINUE TITHING?

Still want to tithe because of Malachi 3:10? If so, you are a deceived fool who is cursed. That is why God forever canceled all tithing here; again...

Hebrews 7:18-19 - "For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God."

TITHING; A MATTER OF THE LAW

TITHING; A MATTER OF THE LAW Many people have asked us "where did Jesus say tithing was a matter of the law (the Law of Moses)?"  ...
