THREE STEPS TO KEEP YOUR TITHERS HANDING OVER THEIR MONEY
1. Twist scripture, add to scripture, take scripture out of context and force it to sound like Christians have been instructed to tithe even though scripture states that Jesus abolished tithing.Ephesians 2:15 - "Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;" Hebrews 7:18 - "For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof." Romans 16:18 - "For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple." Proverbs 30:6 - "Do not add to His Words, lest He reprove you and you be found a liar."
2. Offer fake financial gain and prosperity through tithing to appeal to people's greed and fear of loss; claim that tithing will make anyone rich.
1 Timothy 6:10 - "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." Luke 12:15 - "And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth."
3. Pronounce shame, guilt, damnation, curses and loss of financial blessings on non tithers to frighten them into tithing.
2 Timothy 1:7 - "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." Colossians 2:13-14 - "And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;" Ephesians 1:3 - "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:" Ephesians 2:8-9 - "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
